Old cab on new truck

I know someone who has a '39 Chevy 2 ton cab on a 1990's P-30 chassis,he put a Jerr-Dan ramp body on it and he hauls cars all over this area with it...

I dig the cab, though some of the other styling is not, well, what I would choose were it my truck, let's say.

My problem is I've grown attached to things like adjustable seats and power windows and climate control and whatever other modern conveniences. What I want is way to have it look like the old truck on the outside but work like a new truck on the inside, and sadly, that only seems to work for Doctor Who.

Not necessarily.
I have seen guys upgrade interiors of these old trucks to all the comfort you want.
It's not easy nor cheap but possible

I didn't say it wasn't possible, just that it wasn't possible for me. Don't have the patience for detail work. Plus I have that perfectly good brand new truck there in the garage, it just lacks, you know, panache, old school style, something.

There was an outfit doing 60's and 70's fiberglass front clips for the 90's trucks. It was a great idea, but in practice was visually unappealing to say the least.

Back on track, I have seen some amazing COE (cab over engine) trucks, for instance http://www.stanceiseverything.com/2015/04/theme-tuesday-cab-over-engine-trucks/

Again, far more work than I can handle, plus California has draconian regulations on flatbeds, I've discovered, even if tagged as not-for-hire, etc. Almost makes me want to take up mini trucks. Almost.

I can't stand when people bring modern interiors into old truck/car bodies. It always looks so out of place. Especially the steering column and gauge cluster
