Yeah they are just oem replacement. Same as like dorman or something. Just boring old aftermarket parts. You still have to heat it up to extend it.
Id look into the 2002? express van steering shaft. It telescopes as is and is tight. Otherwise same as the XJ shaft. I put it on my crew cab in minutes.
Took forever to pull it though.
