I was mainly looking for the Y pipe for my stock exhaust, didn't find any that were worth spending money on. Looked for Blazinzuk's gray seat belts, for his crew cab, no dice, either, only red ones, and they were hammered.

Did find the Hydro-bell-housing, and the hydro-pedal assembly I've been secretly wanting. Bought them both for $41.95 out the door. I had to pull the engine to get the Bell-housing out, it sucked, did it in 3 hours by myself.:doah:
But, I saved every bolt and bracket so I have everything.

Nice, I need to find a donor truck, but most the pick and pull yards around here are gone.

I was at the pick n pull yesterday... found a 93 k1500, with vortec heads and the $350 GMPP TBI vortec intake... too bad its a ****in C4C truck.

Im good freinds with a guy who works there so Im gonna try to get the intake, there was also more LS powered trucks and tahoes than I cared to count. And not all were C4C either.

:D

I gave up on Pick-n-Pull I prefer Pull-n-Save although they did have a 89 1 ton listed so I cruised down there last week and the truck wasn't even there...found some descent door panels I had been looking for though

Sounds like you need some one to help you wrench on occasion...let me know if you need any help:D

I'll be driving to Boise this Saturday to pick up a D60:D and return route will be via Wendover to blow some of this years bonus money:wink1: But I'm open the following weekend unless I'm swapping axles on my rig:bow:

i love the junkyards. i can tell you the deals ive found, and just love to wonder around them

The junkyards around here suck. I can't ever find anything worth getting. And when I do, they want an arm and a leg for it.

Do any of ya'll know any good yards, in Southeast Alabama?

The heads aren't that good. All those engines have the hecto in Mexico ones that are down 10-15hp. The intake is a awsome score though

There are a couple of decent u-pull-its here in Mobile but only for trim, some engine or simple stuff, no big axles or anything. All of the bigger yards are owned by one company and only keep stuff 10 yrs or younger.

Yeah, I found where Mobile has some big u-pull its. But I am 2 1/2 hours away. I can't really find anything, you would think K-5s were Deloreans or some sh*t.

I may do a little junk yarding tomorrow, anything specific your looking for?
