Well since this forum has been pretty dead. I thought I post up some stuff that I've been collecting for my suburban. I'm going to be updating this thread as I make progress on the burb. I'm trying to get everything ready for blazer fest in july 19th-23rd @ hollister,ca. So I only have a few months to finish this build. so I'll be working around the clock like last year.

38x13x16 bias swampers that I got a few months back. they'll be replacing the 36x12.50x16 radial swampers that I have now.

I got this dana 60 from a member on here brian (muddog) last month. It came from a cucv. All it needs is brake pads and to get the rotors turned. It has 4.56 and open. this is what it looked like when I got it.

I was going to regear the D60 and the 14ff thats under my sub now to 5.13 but decided to just regear the 14ff to 4.56's so then I'll be able to order more goodies for the sub.

Thers alot of stuff that I'll be doing to the burb. so I'll be updating this thread as I go in the build.

and heres the suburban in question

well the rears are bald. the the 1 front is brand new since it was replaced by the warrenty when I blew it out offroading last summer. the other front tire is a little less than 50%

I finally got my crossover steering put on my burb a couple weeks ago. Next thing to do when I've got more time is to do my rear shackle flip that I got from the great Kert at DIY4x :thumb:

who's crossover did you use?
your going to love the way your going to flex with the shackle flip. mine flexs like mad the only thing is limiting me is the shocks.

I went with Sky's crossover cause he is only an hour south of me and is almost half the cost of ord's

looks good man. I'm still not sure which crossover to go with. it's either skys or ord. the only reason I'll go with ord is the fact that I need to order other parts too and I don't want to pay 2 different shipping cost.

I have had ORDs for over a year without any problems. I am concidering HI steer, but I should get other things before that. Keep posting pics of your progress. I am sure miller will be a lot easyer for you too

yeah, I think I'll just go with ord's. All of my stuff is from them anyways.
After hollister in july I'll be hitting miiler again. And for sure I'm going to the SCBD safari this year...

ok, I just ordered a complete crossover kit from ORD with ARP studs. And new ubolts for the dana 60 and 14ff.......

brent, are burbs looks like twins.... Np, on the bolts :waytogo:

The suburban use to be a news crew burb so that's why it has that box thing on the side... I was going to take it out but I may do something with it like air hose or a power invertor or something like that in there....
