opinion on this intake please...

Thats for 70's models , divorced choke or hot air choke ( you just change the plate covering the exhaust port on the side ) , no egr .

is that for the carb? I have an electric choke.... will that matter? I'm lost

No , won't matter , your just gonna leave whatever plate is on there to block the hole off . Its the rectangle on the passenger side of intake next to carb .

If the plate isn't there they can be hard to find sometimes if you are in a hurry. I had to order one when I switched over carbs.
The plates are included with a new in box carb but I bought a rebuilt so I had to order one.

No , the plate comes with the intake , not the carb .

Not a big deal , you can make a simple plate from a piece of tin , a saw or grinder , some gasket material , a drill , and two bolts .

Or , fill the rectangle in with JB weld .

Edelbrock told me they came with the carb, could be wrong. I'm not speaking from personal experience in buying a NIB carb, or intake.
