I contacted the seller:

Just wondering if you can add some things to a driveshaft order and what does it cost? Looking for 1350 axle joint. Also looking for NONgreaseable joints for extra strength. Lastly, are there any tube upgrades, like extra thickness? Thanks
Sellers reply:

hi. the 1350 long slip would add 50.00 to the order. and the spicer non greasable ujoints will add 15.00 each to the order and the tube i have 2 1/4" 250 wall tubing will add 50.00 to the order. thanks curtis.
So basically about $415 before shipping. What say the brotherhood? I may also be clocking my transfercase down the road. Will this CV joint work with that angle? 4" lift :dunno: I need new driveshafts and just looking at my options. The rear driveshaft will get a Tom Woods SYE kit and shaft.

That price is pretty close to what Tom Woods would get you for a shaft. Might want to double check with them and get a quote. He also does free shipping. So in the end, might be same on price.
Those CV shafts are usually go to 30 degrees max before binding. You will have no problem with a 4" lift. If you clock the case 2" up, would be cutting it close. The Tom Woods shaft, they build to flex to 35 degrees. Also, Tom Woods has a warrenty on their shafts, if you break it, they fix it. I broke the center pin in my CV after about 5 months, they fixed it for free!
Weigh your options and how you plan to use the truck....

Same here. I would go with the Tom Woods then. I have had really good experiences with them on two shafts. Those CV's hold up well. But if you in the throttle and have that passenger tire flexed out, they dont last long at a high angle. Depending on your budget, you could always upgrade to a 1350 cv for a little more peice of mind when one the trail.

I won't buy from that seller just based on he can't spell correctly and has bad grammar. That usually says alot about a person.

I would call Jesse at High Angle Driveline. I've been running his shaft in the rear of my blazer for about 10 years now with no issues and the same u-joints that he installed and shipped to me.

^^^ this, I feel like if a person isnt professional enough to spell correctly I usually don't waste any time on it. Spell checking is easy, Im not the best at spelling and grammer but I usually take to the time to check myself, especially if I am advertising something.

Tom Woods and High Angle Driveline both build quality stuff and for the price you've been quoted you are in their range.

my tom woods shafts are 8 years old. they still have the original u-joints in them. i even broke the c.v section out of the front one. i had driveline tech in gresham fix it. he re-installed the old joints.

call driveline tech. he makes really nice stuff too. competitively priced. he has been making a name for himself in the last couple years

I've also used Driveline Tech in PDX. Really great guy to deal with - has really helped me out when I was in a pinch a couple times.

I had Bills CV shafts on two Jeep wranglers previously, great service and reasonable prices.

Once you approach the $400+ price for a driveshaft you can pick just about anyone and they will all be pretty close in price.

Jesse quoted me $495 for my front and $440 for the rear, both 1350 CV and 1410 pinion end.

I would imagine Tom Woods is pretty close to that as price point as well...

That seller is cj tatton, super good guy to deal with and he only uses spicer products. Hes done a 1350 with 12 inches of slip for my 83 with a 60 on 39s and he did a rear one on my hd thats all 1410. Ive never had a prob with his stuff and it seems to hold up super well. Call em, he can make you almost what ever you will need and you will have it pretty fast. Most cases if you order monday you could see it by friday/monday...

As for the clocking of the case, he can grind the cv so it can achieve a pretty good angle. Remember tho the 1310 and 1410 can go steeper angles. I know people always bad mouth 1310 ..but a 1350 cv at the case with a 1310 no greaseable at the 60 both ground would do good angles and hold up. Mine has and it turms the 39s pretty good...

I seen the spelling and the gramar on there but i didnt fear that, the quality /service and the price steered me in to buy a 2nd shaft.

I'm gonna go X2 on this. Tattons built me a front shaft for my old SAS S10. Price was good, quality was great, service was great, order time vs shipped was quick, contact via phone was pleasant and he seemed very knowledgeable. I would have no problem buying from them again. No problem at all.

Edit, looking at that add again and needing a rebuilt front drive shaft, I will definitely give him a call.
