Ya'll know me...know what I am rebuilding...and you know it's going to be stock...so little off road...mostly street...

What shock should I get for it? I know Bilsteins are supposed to be the best...

What else should I look at? Mono-tube...sensa-trac...what's a good all around shock for a 4WD with stock size wheels?

If they are within $10 of the cost of Bilstein...why not just go ahead and get Bilstein...

Opinions please...

If its for the street, do Not get 5100's. They are too soft. I knew my 5100's were too soft the second I pulled out of the driveway.

If you can run a stock length shock, i can't say enough good things about the bilstein hd / 4600 series shocks. They are awesome. Firm, but not too stiff. Put 30k hard road miles on mine before I had to go to a longer shock after some suspension changes, and they rode like new.

I've run the various part store sensitrak's and reflexes, If you are going that cheaper route, you can get Monroe hd shock by request that is monotube nitrogen.

I'd go bilstein 4600 though, ajusa is in the vendor section, and offers some good deals.

Good luck!

If it's stock height... I'm not even sure that 5100's would be available. The H.D. / 4600's will be though, and I've never heard anything bad about them!
