Opinions on these BBC heads????

I don't know what brand they are, which is why I was wanting opinions.

Yea I'm about 80 miles from Memphis. I work up that way some and have family there so I'm in Memphis quite a bit. Actually, my family is in Southaven, and Olive Branch.

Imo, they are too much head. To me they appear to be rectangular ports, the intake openings on an oval port head typically have a square shape.

Those are too big of a head for what you have told me you are building. The ports are just way too big to allow any kind of port velocity (torque making), those will breathe like none other at 6500+, but off idle, they are gonna fall flat on their face.

If you want a good set of heads, look at GM Bowtie stuff. I had a set of alum bowties, and they were sweet to say the least. I don't know who copied who, but the Bowties and Edelbrock are the basically the same heads. Bolt on for $1600 and change IIRC. Expensive but worth it.
