CA ORD doubler with 203 Range box

I may have found one local then have to change input and drill face, should know for sure in a few days. Yours is already done and bolt in ready, so it all would depend on price with shipping to 57769.

UPS shipping is $117 on 90lbs of transfer case. I think you can find a whole 203 for less than that but if you survived the shipping quote heart attack, it's yours for $200 shipped.

Well if this works out I can send money for the adapter so let me know what I need to do on my end.

I don't need the range box as I've already got a couple but if he doesn't want it may still try to work out a deal with you.

GULP, yeah the shipping quote is a kick in the pants, but kind of expected it. Are you saying if I sent you $200, it'd be on my doorstep soon?

The cost is correct, but I won't be able to pull it and separate until July 28th, so it would arrive about a week later than that. If both of you guys are serious and not scared of the shipping, we can work out the details in PM. Or maybe MrK5 will decide he can use it.

I'm also headed for a family road trip to Austin on July 14-27th so I could theoretically bring it with me to someone to hand deliver along the way. It appears to be cheaper to buy a suburban than rent one for two weeks so I may have more room than I normally do in our minivan. I'd have to pull it in the next two days though to make that work due to work schedule.

Well I'm serious, good with shipping and not concerned about the time frame.

I'm in Arkansas and if the timing works out right I have a buddy that works oil rigs in ok city but I'm not sure if your road trip would bring you anywhere close enough but definitely a possibility.

Sounds good thanks for the update. Kind of ironic and good timing, one popped up for sale local to me this morning.

Guys with round pattern 205s like @obijuank5 and @Heavyd462 have case that are a lot more versatile than you know. The round pattern cases have the figure 8 pattern machined on the face and only need the holes drilled and tapped. The Lomax 205 basically just copied GM on this detail but drilled them in the case from the beginning. You can use a Doubler system like this or a Magnum with a figure 8 pattern by drilling and tapping the 8 holes and plugging the 6. And remember anytime you're mating this stuff the bearing nose or bearing retainer actually lines it all up so the holes in the case just clamp it together. This is the same whether you're drilling a new pattern in a 205 or a 203 like the one in this ad. If the holes aren't perfect they're still just fine, they just need to clamp the 2 parts together.

We've also traded prepped figure 8 housings for round housings before too if you want to swap the whole thing to make something like this work. We pay shipping both ways on it if you want to go that route.

Thanks for the info, wish I would've understood that at the time but sounds like MrK5 will get good use of it. I have found my 203 and received my doubler from you guys a few weeks ago.
