No I got this....Dick
I was always told to respect my elders...... but in this case
2 for since I took these pics at different times.
Someone got some new toys over here.
And it's little brother.
Looks like the ones they do Antarctic expeditions with
I want to know what kind of gearing that 469 has to turn that much tire.
I was thinking the same thing initially because they look beastly but after talking to the guy I was kind of surprised. Those tires are huge low pressure balloon tires. They both only have 4 cylinder motors in them! Fiberglass bodies and super light. Between their weight and those tires that's how they are amphibious.
My CUCV taking a rest in my front yard this afternoon. Just had the urge to snap some photos.
Probably the last photos you will see this year without the plow on.
@GoGoGirl any more up close pics of the plow setup and the brush gaurd ?
my k30 with the 8ft-up size plow frame i had to cut the tabs off and move them out 1" to clear the brush gaurd .
Thats the Mellienniels cry. “Being an adult is hard! Help me. Do for me, give me money, take care of me, I’m so sad boo hoo, check out my new iphone!” .
My buddies life saving is being pissed away helping his dumbass kid not be homeless. As it is he doesn’t have a running car. Thats broke down, needs smog. His junky motorcycle need insurance but doesn’t run. Lost his job. Just one thing after another. And daddy Always oays for it. But the attitude he gets if he gives fatherly advice is unbelievable. His kid even got physical with him once. Ended up with a broken nose trying to get tough with dear old dad. His kid did apologize for the confrontation. Probably because he Knew he F’e up.
I told my kid flat out he can be homeless. I'm not helping someone that's not willing to help themselves. And he knows that. So he gets other people to pay his way and asks me for nothing.
The writer of this story probably drove by Martins house.
That black one is BA! I was just looking at my blue one this morning and thinking about painting it black. I just don't want to have to worry about the paint on it all the time.
The original wiring is not really that bad, assuming a prior owner hasn't butchered it.
Replace every inch of brake line, master cylinder, wheel cylinders, though! I just finished doing that to mine, hoping to actually drive it fast enough to stop without coasting tonight...
Engine on the other hand...yeah, that was probably the downfall of the truck. I did get two of them to run after 20 years of lounging without being properly prepped for storage. The newer one, seller had even told me he couldn't make it run and thought it was blown.
I don’t need one of these truck. But yes I want one
It's dark here in Vermont so I will take some photos for you tomorrow.
First of all, somewhere below I was going to remark that this is my first CUCV, so I'm not exactly sure what the front bumper should look like. Then I remembered, the first vehicle I could call my own was a CUCV, a pickup to be exact. And... I have a photo of me the day I got it, standing by the tailgate!! I was 16 and a relative won a bunch of CUCVs at auction and built one for me.
And yes, I still look just like Abbey from NCIS, and I was a goth/metal/punk girl so my hair is dyed black. Not so much today.
Anyhow, plow is a Fisher Speedcast with the hydraulic motor under the hood and driven by its own belt.
It appears-- which means I may be wrong, but I did read something once-- that the frontmost frame portion, where the shackles would be, was removed to accommodate the plow.
Words not necessary.
Those M715's need Cummins dizzles
Fixed it for yeah
Any guesses what this is.
