There are so many different planes in those fenders. I followed the build on IG. There is no way that could be a one piece unit.

Stretching that lip after it had been rolled the other way would have made it so thin it would have been useless.

Rolling it under and bolting from the inside would have been cleaner for aesthetics. A lot more hours. And if this build was like most, they ran out of time.

I don't see a driveshaft in that - is that supposed to be a front end? Cant tell if that link on the bottom is a toe control or actually supposed to steer, but that heim isn't gonna allow much turning..

It’s the front end, and it’s from the same dude that bent my rails. Not sure what’s going on in it, because the top heim isn’t even bolted in.
Lots on Instagram - Dusold Designs. I just grabbed the perspective that informed some stuff for my car. I was all about up close and detailed shots this year, and talking with the builders. For the most part, the camera stayed in my pocket.

So how big was the boat before you shrunk it? Was it an ocean freighter?

    :haha:

Sorry, but someone had to be the dork to ask that...

honestly.. it's p*ssy chit.. I used to do rows of 55' ers.. that's a 46'.. it's a top 5 boat for this yard.. but I used to do 65', 70' all the time when my legs worked.... :(

that new machine changes things up a bit for me... I'll post em up, we can now pull/store the 2 stoopid big bank boats we repo'd.. the one is stooopid big.....

we can haul up to about 50', but the new machine brings in a whole new ballgame.. I like the big 55' sportfish, tuna-tower type stuff, big stand-up engine rooms and 12 cylinder twin turbos are fine with me, over stern drive, Bravo 3 chit all day...

to be honest, if I can make it to X-mas with what's on my plate, I'll be damn impressed.... :o i literally have like 75 boats to do in, like, 32 working days... about a dozen of those are gonna be almost full day psycho gigs...

    fug my life......:doah: :haha:

back in the glory days when the leg actuators worked, sorta.. ;) some 50+s on the line... FTR, done only by me, usually in 4, 5 hrs... it's about 100 lbs of plastic per boat...
