Somewhere being famous.
The dog has been howling in the back of the shop. I apparently have a large critter playing house.
3/8 washer for size. 20210607_112933.jpg

Used by pilgrims as a badge for completion and marking the way along the Camino de Santiago route. My mom walked it in 2019, that’s the only reason I know.

I have the newer starter on all mine as well.
Much better

Don't forget the brace!

@The Griff, have someone measure the battery voltage while you are cranking. If it drops to near zero, you either need batteries or the starter is failing shorted. If the battery voltage doesn't drop a bunch, you have a wiring/solenoid issue or the starter is failing open.

So were they just trying to save money on concrete or were they going for an old school look parking them on gravel? I've never seen a place concreted only around the border, which would keep animals out but not very good for working on anything.
Wouldn't you think that it's about saving money AND not having any oil drips on the concrete?

This 6.2 runs like a sewing machine, but I pulled it up to the garage to change the air cleaner, and ever since it won't crank fast enough to start.

Replaced the ground cables and the crossover, but it still struggles to make a single revolution. Guess the starter is done.

I have a Wilson reman I put on last fall and then pulled the engine less than 500 mi later. If you need one, pm me. It has the brace on it too.
