Bet it has more hp and tq than my old 79 Z28!
Computer controlled?

Yep. Fuel injected.

131 cubic-inch (2147cc)
CNC ported heads
64MM throttle body
10.7:1 forged pistons

Supposed to be 131 ft/lb and 121 hp to the rear wheel. If I can remember, I'll try and see if I can get some real world numbers to post up.

Compared to a 79 camaro
Camaro weight: 3607
Camaro hp: 172
Power to weight: 21 lbs per hp

Streetglide weight: 829
Streetglide hp: 121
Power to weight: 7 lbs per hp

For reference, it would be like a 527hp/570ftlb to the rear wheel 79 Camaro.

With a warranty, no less.

Sawww-weeeeeeet!!!

My 79, I bought it in 96. It had a lot less power than it came with lol.

Just went down the yt rabbit hole checking those motors out. Of course it was compared to the Indian Challenger and its new Ohc motor.

I speced one out for goggles....39k! Lol

I've not compared with the others. Just haven't had time to keep up with what's going on in the market.

This bike would have be about$22k new.

If you want to see something interesting, look into the new Pan America or the new Sportster S.

Pan America is 150 hp, stock.
1250 cc
Dual overhead cams
Variable valve timing

I seem to remember you have an anvil? You have a forge also? Would be interested in seeing some more of this. Just picked up a cheap cast steel anvil. Need to build a forge.
Yeah when I get some time to get some forging done I definitely post some pictures and stuff, not really sure which forum it should go in tho?

I picked up an Emerson anvil back this winter and a large 5 burner forge in the spring! I have a few gates for my house I’m gonna try my hand at building, I plan on adding some scroll work and steel lattice to the bottom. Ill definitely post pictures when that project starts.
