Hey guys I am finishing up the entire rewire of my truck and wanted to ask to see what you guys have found on the firewall bulkhead fittings similar to what the factory uses in our year trucks. I would like to use the factory weatherproof connector, but I wouldnt know where to get all the little terminals that need recrimped and replaced for each circuit and wire. Does anybody know of a place who sells these terminals or a complete kit for something of this sort. I am open to suggestions as well, I just want something that I wont have to mess with later, and does a good job of waterproofing the firewall seal and protecting the wiring from potential damage of rubbing against something. Ideally I would like to use the factory fitting, but I have a feeling new replacement terminals will be impossible to get.

ryoken has a line on some, i just don`t remember what they were, DOH!

Most of that stuff does indeed carry a GM number, another story if they still sell it.

It would be in an old parts manual. *Most* counter jockeys are worthless when it comes to the "older" stuff.

sweet, just whipped out my waytek catalog out of curiosity, thumbed through it, and low and behold the factory spade type fittings are called delphi packard 56 terminals, just signed off after ordering 150 male/female terminals at like 10 or so cents a pop. With a slight modification to my gm weatherpack crimper, I will be able to use it to crimp these terminals as well.....woohoo I get to reuse my factory bulkhead fitting now!!!! Thanks for the info guys, I found a few gm warehouses do sell these terminals but want alot more for them than what I paid. Cant wait til they get here Friday so I can get to crimpin and soldiering all of those connections into place. Maybe this will give me something I can do on the side to make money this fall while I go to school is making new factory replacement harnesses for the gm pickups like front, rear, etc etc.......
