so how much did you pay craig to photoshop your truck into those pics?:D

time for some HD front shafts. but I bet that u-joint was going out and you would not have broken with a good one in there. I always broke the stock shafts right behind the splines. then upgrade to a HD shaft and break the ears by breaking the joint.

it was expensive to get craig to do it but they almost look real right...

the hole that there is a pic of me driving in was awsome...the ramcharger got stuck 3 times in that hole..then i told him i was gonna walk right thru it...

the truck had so much wheel speed i shifted to 2nd and it kept on..no one could belive i made it through..but then i got stuck bad in that last hole where i broke the shaft at...

they were new u joints i had my tire climbing a wall and the locker just plain sheared it off..

hd shafts???what do they come out of or where do you buy them??

I bought warn HD shafts for my 44. I got them from the local speed shop which was good for when I needed to retun them.

went like this. snapped the short side inner at the neck down. replace with a warn shaft. break the u-joint next time out taking the ears off both the inner and stub on the short side. warranty the inner, no questions asked and buy a hd stub. then broke the long side inner. break the remaining stock stub shaft, taking out the ears on the new HD shaft. again warranty replacement.

bought a 60, sold the HD 44 stuff and never looked back. but the price was right at the time, the warranty is lifetime and if I had upgraded everything at once with some bling u-joints I probably would not have broken the HD stuff. but that would have cost more then a 60.

stubs are $125, short side was $150, lond side $175. so either cough up the money now for the 60 in one lump sum or slowly spend money on the front end and hope to get half back when you sell the parts.

isn't this hobby fun?

he knows I am kidding. Jamie and I tease each other a lot. mostly me breaking his balls and him taking it though. I am glad he finally has something to wheel since my truck is all busted up. I might be riding shotgun in that blazer some day.
