Piecing together a full vert! (This Blows)

What type of blaster did you use? I'm hope to have mine blasted by winter.

Used a friends Harbor Freight one. It did alright, but my frame wasn't too bad to begin with. If the frame was really rusty it probably wouldn't have went as well.

the pressure pot deal?

$200 not that bad. Everything I found around here was alot more. I think they would do a better job too.

Or i'll just wire wheel it and call it done. It will probably be snowing / salt when I can get it blasted. We shall see what happens. Need to get my hoist in first.

Made a bunch of headway on the blazer! I ordered some stainless steel prebent brake lines from inline tube. Also got their disc brake proportioning valve. Was a pretty easy install. Would have been easier without the engine crossmember in.

Did some laying out of crossmembers to compare

I installed a shin catcher. Found out the ruffstuff 6" shackles make good plates for the hitch.

Installed my 5.3 and 4l60e

Here is the TNA LS swap engine mounts

Got my TBI Tank and sender

Installed the Schoenfeld 102ls1 headers. Didnt have to move the passenger side O2 bung. Must be something they updated

Ran my fuel line. I have hardline running on the frame rails and braided line to the engine and tank.
Then welded up my exhaust. Going with the Thrush welded mufflers. I like the way they sound on 5.3s just hope it doesnt get too annoying with no top.

Next step is to put the body back on. Feels good making a lot of progress!

Sounds good to me! Let me know when. We will be out of town the 16-18

Well, that's 2 weeks from now. We are thinking of heading to the Cheese Days fest in Monroe. Which will bring us pretty close to your location.

Oh well, we'll try some other time. We pass through Madison semi-regularly, it's just a matter of diverting a few miles. We'll be heading through there Tuesday morning, but won't have much time for stopping.
