PLAN B

This build was 2 parts 1 i have a truck I made to pretty to wheel so I'm building an ugly one I can actually enjoy. And 2. My cousin has been trying to join us for blazer bash but his truck wont be ready so we are surprising him with this one
Mine started making a deeper sound right before it died. Not saying that’s definitely the problem, just sayin.

Oh yeah that's my thought. I'm going to throw my spare in and order a new spare. Since I have an access panel it takes like 15 mins so I figure just swap it.

I think I'm currently swapping out a bunch of crap just because it seems weak or questionable (such as this fuel pump).

I'm also starting prep work for my cage build and installing a valve style parking brake. Thanks to all the ck5 dudes on the DIY4X tech talk page for answering all my questions. Today I removed my old parking brake assembly and yesterday I finally mounted a real CB antenna.

Opinion question.... would my accent blue or interior matching grey look better on my future cage?

Either would be fine, but personally I prefer NOT to see the cage, so grey imo.

I mean, if you really want to see it, go orange. ;)
Orange!? Are you mad?!? ;) ;)

I will go on the hunt for a decent grey. This whole time I planned on using blue but I'm glad I second guessed. I've even seen bare metal cleaned up and cleared that looked ok... hmmm...

Don’t be jealous of the orange
How about the grey steel-it paint?

Cleanest windshield ever! I pulled my windshield weeks before I'm really planning on doing my cage because I'm going to try my hand at a little rust repair/body work just to improve my skills. I'll probably finish it off with a little white rattle can paint job.

I am also slowly pulling out my interior so I can apply sound deadner and likely replace the inner besides with something not rotten...

Don't toss the bed sides, I need measurements for the diamond plate ones I want to make for mine.

I have 6x9s there. Mount them vertically closer to the wheel well. Should work out fine.

Well things escalated...
Pulling out my full interior to patch the floors, add sound deadner and prepping for my cage. I'm not trying to make this thing perfect just trying to slow down the rot and keep the tub alive for a few more years.
