Yup, sold the K5 a while ago, at a HUGE loss!!! 
It went to a good home though, the guy who bought it LOVES it and has already done a TON of work on it and drives it and wheels it! (a LOT better owner than I ever was) So, that's good! 
Well, looks like this weekend is a bust. IDK when I am gonna get the Jeep done.

It was funny, right after I finished bolting everything on, I drove to the auto parts store to get some wiring stuff and a guy in a brand new dead stock '12 JKU flagged me down on the road and started asking me questions about my mods! I tell you what, my Jeep looks HUGE next to a dead stock base model!!!
I have been noticing, around my area, mine is one of only 5 modified 4 doors I have seen, and mine is the most modified out of the 5!

how is the ride with those fancy shocks?
looking good. they look really good with 35" tires. makes the long wheelbase look more appropriate

Thanks bro!!! Good eye on the shocks, wow!!! They are Fox external reservoirs.
Right now it rides like a little rough but, I think it's due to 3 reasons:
1. the springs are brand new
2. the springs are made for a heavy modified JKU
3. the shocks may have excessive pressure (I've read they ship with 200psi)
So, I think after I add the skidplates, some gear, and a winch (gonna be a while for the winch though, no $$$) and fiddle with the shock pressure a bit (I have yet to verify the shocks' current pressure) the ride will improve a LOT!!! (I have already noticed a difference just from the bumpers)

Great looking rig!
A buddy of mine in Ocala and his wife, sold their C6 Corvette, and bought one of these.
Immediately started with the tires and lift and external bolt ons.
His is a stick.
They got toasted at a party we were all at one night, and asked me to drive them to their hotel.
Yeahl, this is going to be hard to handle

My wife, whose not a big 4WD person to begin with, rode in it for the 1st time several months ago, and really liked it.
Said I could trade my FJ62 Landcruiser for one.
Yeah baby, that and a small boatload of cash and we'll be good to go
Really did enjoy the ride and look of it though.

My brother just passed through your way this morning in his "new" play toy, he brought a beautiful 89 Wagoneer from a guy in Atlanta. He flew down yesterday afternoon and is driving it home.

A ZJ is a very good choice! I used to have one and my wife loved it! CJ-7's are sweet but (around here at least), people seem to price them like they are made of solid gold!!!
On JK's, Rubicons (like mine) have Dana 44's front and rear, all other models have front Dana 30's, and rear Dana 44's. The rear 44's are plenty beefy but, the fronts are another story. On the fronts the tubes and all the outer stuff are the same on JK 30s vs JK 44s, the only difference is the center section- carrier, diff, ring and pinion, housing itself all beefier. (obviously since 44 stuff instead of 30 stuff) Thus, although the 44 is stronger then the 30, it still has the 30's weak bendable axle tubes and inner Cs. (and wimpy balljoints) So, in order to make the front 44 live with big tires and wheelin, it needs sleeves and gussets. (and eventually upgrade the balljoints) Or, one can get a Prorock 44 frontend from Dynatrac, or a Teraflex 44. < with either of them, all the stock stuff can be put into a new beefier axle! I'd love to have a Pro rock 44 eventually!!!- with RCV shafts, Reid Racing knuckles, Dynatrac balljoints,...

I kinda miss my old Cj-7... I totally got my $$ worth out of it
it was destroyed by the time I finished with it I have an Ironrock 3.5 inch kit for my Brides ZJ, just need to get new control arms for it. Want to install it all at once. She loves the thing... plan on doing the 8.8 swap someday too...
