Im running a reservoir running directly into the pump with the chrystler nipple.

The return side of the reservoir is running into a remote filter then cooler and then where? Im trying to lay that out in my mind now. Do I need to put a T in at the box? Will that be fine?

Return side should come out of the steering box into the filter then cooler then back into the pump.

I like running it throught the filter while its warm. Seems like the warmer fluid would flow better through the filter. Don't know if that's exactly accurate or not.

Then Cool it down before it goes back into the pump.

I prefer not to have a "T" in the return line.

So just plug the return line on the reservoir? I don't like the idea of a T at the box either (or a t anywere for that matter)

Sorry, out of the cooler into the res and then back to the pump.

With that, all the fluid makes the circuit.

EDIT:

just for clarity,

Flow comes from the pump, to the box where it splits to your cylinder. Low pressure out of the box and through the filter, cooler and dumps into the resevoir and back to the pump.

My life may have gotten a little easier, this is my new pump just came in today. Correct me if im wrong but are the 2 "hard lines" running up beside the pump return lines?
