Hey, what'll cure poison ivy? I keep hearing that calamine ain't worth a fock.
Ivy or Oak? Calamine is supposed to work on Oak. Ivy...I've heard a soapy shower immediately or don't get into it in the first ****in place. Poison Ivy doesn't do anything to me so I don't know first hand. Never been into poison oak though.
I don't think it's poison oak, but whatever it is, it's a rash that itches like crazy.
Use a condom next time.
Seriously though, try that gas station "no itch" stuff or wash it vigorously. There's a plant that will get rid of the rash but I think it's exclusive to the midwest and you'd probably get into more ivy finding the stuff.
i literally rolled in the stuff when i was stripping my K30. never once did it even think about bothering me.
Haha glad yall liked the way I phrased that.
I'm thinking about amputating it. Otherwise I'm just gonna scratch my arm off.
a frend of mine swears by white shoe polish
I like to itch it till it gets real red, then pour straight clorox ultra on it. Works for me. Its the only thing I have found to really dry it up fast other than the shot they give you at the doctors office.
find some wet cement scracth it open rub cement all over infected area
When will you guys learn.....
The answer to all wounds is...
Go to a drug store. They make soap specifically to take away the oil that causes the ich. Get that and some spray to stop the scratching. There is some stuff called Ivy Dry that we use on the kids and it works well.
Steroid cream and steroid pills worked for me and my wife when we were rollin in the bushes Thats what the Doc gave us.
Honestly, I use mud. I let the mud dry on the area affected, it seems to lift the poison out of the skin. Always works for me.
X2....solu-medrol dose paks.....itching gone in a day, rash gone in 3-5.
I don't know what you just said.
Call a doctor
Saltwater helps, alcohol pads, ivy dry, benadryl spray........the main thing is to keep it dry.
Solu-Medrol is the steroid...they come in a dose pak...we make this stuff where I work. See a doctor to get it, and make sure they give you a strong enough dose.
Well there are supposed to be good waves tomorrow morning...
I gotta go to the pharmacy anyway, I'm outta Nyquil, maybe they'll give me something good.
