Cut the fangs, boatside it, fit some 38's, get some 1 tons, bash the body all to hell and then eventually make it into a jungle jim.



At least that's the routine here.

Glad to hear that. Seems like the guys down where they don't rust away always end up cutting/bashing their trucks into trail buggies and tube buggies while us up here in the rust belt can't keep ours in good shape no matter what.

Well I do have the normal rust spots along the bottom,over the
wheel wells,under both doors theres a palm size hole etc... BUT
I plan to learn to fix those NOT cut them out.
Im still on the fence about cutting the fangs..I think it would look
better though. Cut them up closer to the bumper ya know..

Those don't protect the front fender fangs or your rear overhang.

Well I dont get that wild offroad..And Im going to trim the fangs up some to look better.AND I may have to trim the rear because of rust...

I am going to trim the front. Probably to just under the bumper.
I just don't want to trim the rear more than I have to..

the front fangs were the first thing to go on my truck. my girlfriend was really upset when she found out I got too close to a rock and bent my "cute truck" as she calls it. she was even more upset while she sat there and watched me cut them off.

then my tires started rubbing up front so I had to trim there a little and the other day I drug the rear overhang accross a fallen tree so guess whats coming off next.

personally I think they look better with the fangs and overhang cut off.
