Post pics of your interior!

My wifes 79 we have dubbed the "Disco Chevy". Couldn't find a picture of it online. Blazer 79 has some pictures and his truck had the same colors. As it rolled off the line it had red crush volur inserts with the seat backs being white vinyl, white door and side pannels and red carpet.
Glad Disco DIED! here is a original sales stuff.

Is that a welcome mat across the tranny tunnel in dollar Grim? Poor mans heat shield?

Seats are from a '92 Integra, gauges are Autometer Pro-Comps. This pic is about 3 years old, I've changed some stuff, such as adding a tilt column and hand throttle, but it's essentially the same.

It's neither, I bought some cans of underbody rubber spray from Schucks. It fades under my heel by the brake pedal, I was going to put carpet in and figured this would be a good rust preventer, but now I might not put carpet in. I maybe be buying a newer K5 so it doesn't really matter right now.

Are those gauges hard to install? How do you like them compared to stockers, hard to read at that angle? Also, what's the 3 LED's for? I saw those on a guide to autometer gauges to, but didn't know what they were for.

Yeah, the gauges kind of suck aimed down like that, but I can still read them, so fixing them isn't real high on the priority list. As soon as I find some materials that I need to do it then I probably will, but I've had a hard time hunting the right size stuff down to make trim rings for the large gauges. The LEDs are just radio shack LEDs, they're for the turn signals and high beams.

new seat upholstery, seat belts, door panels, carpet, and other interior stuff....carpet on passenger side is pulled up due to buster heater core that I have to replace. Yes, that is snow on the window. TOO COLD here in NJ. I will be putting in new 6 inch lift this weekend in the cold. Should be fun. See the interior here---

Did you order those door panels from JC Whitney and are they the standard or deluxe? Also, did you order the carpet on the bottom of the doors? If so where? thanks.

those floor corners scare me..man i hate to see that...look like a spittin image of my truck..but yours looks better haha.. i suppose it could be fixed ok if the rest of the floor was good though

This is on a good day!

Putting on my soft top.

I'll have to get some new ones with my digital camera. These give you the general idea of how rough it is. I'll rhino-line it one of these. More drivetrain goodies first! /forums/images/graemlins/grin.gif More photos on my site.

Grim, i like the giant roll of duct tape on the floor...just for emergencies /forums/images/graemlins/smirk.gif

Thats "DUCK" brand duc tape mind you LOL. Got to keep it handy for all them Jeeps in the club LOL. About the only thing I use it for on my truck is the jingling Zipper on the soft top when I have the windows out and shutting up the ten year old.

I sure do like that dash /forums/images/graemlins/grin.gif. Did you make that for your rig? If so, was it a serious pain because I really need to do it for my truck. Has anyone ever tried to take off their craptastic dash pad and paint and polish the metal frame underneath? With some well placed filler panels it might look OK.
