Well since the thread is highjacked anyway, lets see if I can remember everything. I've owned it for like 15 years now. This thing is pretty retro, compared to todays standards.

1985 K5 Silverado
Power everything, and it all works!!
Crate 350/700r4/208
10 bolt front.4.56 Open. Warn hubs, Rockstomper Tie rod. 14 rear 4.56, detroit, shaved.
4" Skyjacker leafs front,Ord shackles, Ord swaybar discos. Stock leafs, ORD flip rear, 1" block.
Rancho 9000 shocks, ford towers in front, inboarded rear. Long ass break lines.
37x12.5x16 SS Iroks on 16x10 MTII knock offs.
Home built bumpers with all kind off mounts, Warn 9500 winch.
DP90 sliders.

Sheet metal trimming, Steerbox braces, XJ steering shaft, rock lights, Power Tank, shower, 1000w power inverter. Big alternator, optima battery................................................................................

There is so many things, I know I miss a ton. And I still have stuff to do. I used to actually wheel this thing. If the paint doesn't get fixed, bring on the trails again.

yeah and everyone sweet rigs! the paint on the '85 amazes me. Makes me want to paint my truck like the general lee!!!!

About 60 bucks in primer, 60 bucks in blue/white, and 20 in clear coat, although that doesn't show. Needs a good wet sanding and a bunch more clear....All Rustoleum from Walmart. It helps that you can buy the White and Primer in the "33% more" cans.

About the truck in question, if it's the brown truck that was recently posted somewhere around here, I like the brown paint. Maybe I'm remembering a different truck though.
You may be thinking of the paint thread I posted.
I've decided to keep it's original colors. Got other shtuff to worry about.

I have been enjoying this thread though. Dig that orange/black color scheme. Tan top would ruin it in my opinion. My local Autozone has that Duplicolor Paint Shop (or whatever they call it) in quarts and in stock. I have an HVLP gun, maybe one day I'll get frisky and go buy some Hugger Orange and go nuts.

I was thinking about doing a 2-tone black and silver as well, but using Durabak's smooth (non-textured) bedliner. Plus you can brush it on so no spraying necessary.

I've also been really happy with Chassis Saver as an undercoating. It's incredibly tough stuff but I wouldn't want to paint the exterior with it.

heres an 86 me and my brother did last winter it was soposed to be a 100.00 dallar paint job we got carried away.

It looks good from a distance. Didn't bother to buff out the orange peel though. Only thing I've really noticed after a couple years is it scratches very easy along with the sun-beaten spots (like the hood) are starting flake off, which is probably just my fault.
