Power to manual tailgate conversion

Is the internal hardware for a power window tailgate the same as a manual window tailgate?If so I guess all that needs to be switched are the handles?

same here...but this is assuming you can find a tailgate and the internal hardware in good condition.

I had a 79 blazer a few years ago that had the manual rear window.i even took the internal hardware out and cleaned/greased it but i can't remember
for the life of me if those parts are the same or not.Surely somebody has to know on this web site.

Regulators!!!

There are two separate part numbers for manual (15641780) and power (15606346 discontinued since 93).You could probably lay both side by side to see if modifications could be made either way.
