hey there, the plan is to do sye on the 241 i bought. ive got a fixed yoke 1350cv driveshaft in the shed, so i can lengthen/shorten it to work. my question is, whats a ball park figure for the length of the fixed yoke rear driveshaft for a k5? doesnt need to be exact, but just wanna know for reference. thanks

I will try to remember and get this for you tomorrow. BTW, I'm likin the build-up, esp. the colors.:waytogo:

I dont have a CV but I have a SYE and my drive line from the tip to tip of each yoke is 37 inches. Mine is also clocked flat but I really dont think that would matter much.

sweet! ive got a 1350 cv driveshaft off of a newer f250, and its about 40" or so. hopefuly that will work.

I will try and measure mine tomorrow. I am almost positive that it is not over the length of a Ford shaft because I am planning to buy 2 of them. One for the front and one for a spare rear shaft.

D.D. Machine came out with a Np241planetary to 205 doubler. They have i advertised on Pirate and the kit is about the same cost as a SYE.... Requires some aluminum welding though...
