I really feel like you are talking about mine. I can't say I have ever seen another one done like this.

That tubing lays out nice, is that a pre fab kit or your own variety?

Thanks, That would be a Boz/Page original. It took a while to figure out. The bumper is 3/8" plate & 2" .250 wall DOM. The stinger is 1 3/4" .120 wall DOM.

What was you approach to doing the layout for the bending?

I have mashed the crap out of mine and finally decided that I need to armor around the head lights

My trimming sucks. I need a lot more

The tube under the headlight pretty much tries to follow the body panel. It has 3 seperate bends. There is a tube behind it that runs underneath the radiator support. Then the lowest tube runs up from near the frame to the outside tip to triangulate the outer edge. The winch is recessed into the grill which is why it doesn't have one.

Thats close but i believe the one i have in mind has even cut out the side marker light. How much lift and what size tires are you running BOZ?

Half of my side marker light is gone, If you went any higher, you would loose the headlight trim, & possibly the headlight.

42 TSL's. Stock 56's front & rear. 1" body.

Mine has that cut as well. I filled in what was left of the marker light hole.

mine is cut like that too. I don't have a bumper on yet so its pretty easy to see

Unless you move the headlight it would be hard to go high enough to get the sidemarker out.

This must have been the one i was thinking of it looks sweet. But i figured out how im going to do it. This is a crappy paintshop pic just because i dont know how to splain it better with words. Blue line is where ill cut.
This is for my 79 crew cab But it has 78- headlight buckets. The goal will be as little lift and huge tires so this should work.

If you trim your fenders on a radius like that of the 69-72 style to fit the wheel rather then straight cuts it would look a lil better and function very well. takes more time and you'll need a body saw and alot of extra blades. the best jobs ive seen is where they take the original rolled edges and section and move them back so i looks like it was never trimmed.

Very true and i would agree with you other than this will be a beater im not real concerned with form. Function is where its at with this rig. Witch brings me to the fact i havent done squat on it in about 3 weeks. I figure with the front 52s and rear relocation i should be at close to 6" and i want to run 42" tires possibly bigger lol. I seam to think i read on here somewhere, that most guys sugest 42's are pritty safe for d60 whereas 44s+ put it at its limit for breakage. I am going to run the 6.2 thats in it so it isnt going to be a powerhouse. Gearing can compound tourque, so figure in a 203/205 doubler and axle gears i still may be pushing it.
