I have two 2wd late 70's k5's and trying to figure out a build route with one of them. I am looking for pictures of tubbed and caged k5 Blazers. So far no luck and hoping someone has some pictures to share. One is getting an AWD frame swap and really thinking about building the other one for some fun.
Thanks

You could get one to my brothers house, he is in Oregon, he may even come pick it up, then I could come get it then you would not have to worry about what to do with it

lol looking forward to building them. Almost done with my other s10 Blazer so going to need some more adhd projects.

You realize that 2wd K5's are now pretty hard to come by and are in high demand for the low rider and street cruiser crowd--you could probably sell them for a good chunk of change and buy a 4x4 K5 or two, instead of cutting them up!..

I had a '75 full vert 2wd K5 and regret selling it --I wasn't aware they would be so collectible in a few years,I think I sold it for less than $500--though I only paid $150 for it and did have to put floors, rockers and door bottoms on it and patch the rear wheel well arches..
I also pulled the original 250 six & 3 speed out of it and put a 307 with a saginaw 4 speed from a Vega in it..thing was very peppy and got a bit better mpg than the original drive train..

I do realize that. The one I am thinking about pro stocking is a total I bought a couple years ago. After I bought it found out it was really rusty in the floors and was going to scrap it but now deciding to do something with it instead.

pro stocking or Pro touring???? please explain, cuz I'm thinking something like this is ProStock
