Ah, the weekend starts early for me! I'm leaving Boone....(today actually - HAHA!) to go home. On the way, I'm gonna stop in and pick up my girlfriend, then it's on to Bladenboro for us. I'll have the "Goose" in tow for the upcoming weekend. Once in the 'Boro, it'll be a full-throttle work day on the Goose, getting some loose ends tied up on it. Then, I have to help my friend sling a front axle under his Heep so that he can attempt to make it to URE with the group this weekend. That'll probably occupy most of Thursday. Friday morning, I have to be in Wilmington at 7 AM for my "job interview" with Wilmington Fire Dept. I'm excited about that, but i'm not so excited about having to wake up at 5:30 to get ready and make the hour drive down there. Oh well. May as well get used to it! After taking their three hour long exam, it's another hour drive back to the house to get the Goose, then it's off to URE! I'll be sure to have fresh batteries in the cameras (video and digital), so we'll have some good footage for you guys to check out! It's "Destroy the Goose" weekend for me. I'm either going to break it, or find out just how tough I built the damn thing. So, y'all have a good one, and wish me luck on this exam. Firefighting is what I want to do until I retire or die (whichever comes first), and Wilmington is where I want to do it. I'll be sure to let you guys know if I get the job. It'll probably be multiple threads....followed by an amazing buildup of a truck since I'd have a steady income. Aight, I'm out!
