I knew and was told it was to big, but now I know for sure. I got going about 70 or 75 and stepped down on it even more....dang it will fly in HIGH RPMS. I can idle around town in 3rd about 27-29 mph. I really like it, but it will just spit and sput around, would a new torque converter fix it? I left the stock one on there because I didn't want to mess with the transfer case. Thansk

A higher stall convertor (looser) will get you off of the line quicker, and should help with having too big of a camshaft. However if it is, "but it will just spit and sput around" doing this while cruising around, I don't think that it will help out at all. You were a little vague about your description. - Steve
