Ok, so I put this rear disc conversion setup that was recommended to me on the forums onto my 14ff. http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/14-B...ptZMotorsQ5fCarQ5fTruckQ5fPartsQ5fAccessories

Then I ordered the 7/16 banjo bolt ORD extended brake lines... Well they did not fit, so I returned them and got the 10mm ones. They do not fit either. WTF! Do any of you guys know what size banjo bolt this **** is? Its a little wider than the 10mm and I am pretty sure it is fine thread. I would like to know what calipers I have on here, and would really like to find a way to make the extended brake lines fit, they are the last part I need working so I can drive my truck. Any questions / comments are always much appreciated, thanks!

The ones I used were 3/8-24. I had the same issue with the other two sizes.:doah:

Well I have the banjo bolts that fit my calipers. The issue I am having is that they do not fit the extended brake lines. Is there a way to drill out the brake lines a bit? I doubt that one is a good idea, but I am willing to do pretty much anything at this point.

Now I get why you are trying extended brake lines on the rear. I ran hardline over to each caliper and then just used super short stainless brake lines from a local speed shop. The chevette ones are supposed to work too.

Why are you trying to use extended brake lines ?
get the chevette ones which are the right fit or an original set that belongs with the calipers ?

I used an extended brake line so I could loop the line over the springs. It still hooks to a hard line across the axle but it keeps them out of harms way.

I used steel braided line with AN fittings. Got them from http://www.speedwaymotors.com/ . They only cost like 30 bucks plus the ride for everything. Just don't forget 90's at both ends. Makes for a really clean setup.
