Very nice. Hey have you seen that orange K5 full-vert with the cage around your parts. While I'm commuting down to Juno Beach for work I've seen it parked in that plaza on High Meadows Ave. That is a sweet K5 as well...

No, I havn't someone did tell me about an orange one tho. Just when you think youv'e seen em all around town, I gotta look for that one it's close to my home. Thanks.

And thanks all for the compliments it's gettin there. The paint didn't come out as well as I hoped (did it in my driveway) but I can live with it. I am determined to do everything myself right where you see it.

First road trip today

I finally got to drive my Blazer today, no rompin just went about a4 mile trip to the gas station, I felt like it was a good idea to keep it close to home since it hasn't been out of the farm in over a year!
Here is a few pics...my carpet job, headliner, seats front only today.

Everything felt good except it could use some lower gears since I added 37's and ofcourse I want more power....... but it's never enough for me!
Oh! and some serious radio noise. All guages read fine so i'll more than likely find a trail this weekend.
This is the full transformation.

Mannn! Don't shoot but they came out of a junked Suzuki suv, this was a low budget build and the stock seats needed alot so I cut and welded the frames built supports and they work as they did only with good leather. I have the rear one too I havn't got to it yet.

your truck looks bitchen!!!! Im looking for some comfy seats! whats your headliner made out of? sorry for the 20 questions

You have 18 left :D hehe
The headliner is the original backing and I went to super wallymart's fabric department and bought 2 yards of grey felt, Then on to Autozone for a can of headliner spray cement. 2 heavy coats on the cardboard & 2 on the felt let it dry for about 15 min. then slap it on then trim the edges and mount. It sounds harder than it was and looks new!

When you find that trail let me know.... :D

A little place just so. of Stuart called Poincenna Gardens, it has mud, trails and no one cares as long as you pickup after your self and don't get real crazy. I have to see how much water is there right now tho since all the rain we are getting. I do know what you mean it's getting worse every year, there used to be 100's of places.....not any more.:(

Man, That K5 looks SWEET!!! I love it! That motor looks nice. I see the headers, Do you have to smog that? Congrats on a very nice build!!
