Anyone ever use this product? I saw it in Carparts.com. It is a radiator coolant additive. Can it be used in the winter without dropping temps. too cool to heat you up + keep the engine at a normal operating temps.

Also anyone ever use the Cold Front Covers? They look neat. Could they be used for everyday driving? Or just a "show no go" item.

Those cold front covers are for winter driving where it actually gets cold in the winter

They minimize the amount of cold air going through the rad so the engine will warm up. Without one the motor would never reach operating temp.

Thanks man. I thought they looked neat. Only saw them once on a show truck. After that i ahvent seen them run. BTW is that same idea incorporated on Big Rigs in the winter?

I have never heard of anyone using Purple Ice, but Ihave heard alot of peope use Redline Water Wetter and they have all said their temps had dropped. I bought some, just haven't gotten it in yet.
