So as I was cruising down the highway today, after filling up the tank, the truck would seem to be running fine however when i got up to speed (about 45) it would start to die on me. It did not do this earlier before i filled it up. It even went so far as to die on me at a stop light. I pulled it off the side of the road, looked inside and noticed that the little round thing that the fuel line plugs into, then goes into the mixer, the one that has the vacuum line on it was all frosted over. So I thought that maybe i had too much propane flowing to it, i went in the back to the tank and closed the valve almost all the way, just enough to not kill the truck. Drove it home with no issues. Was that the fix for it? Or was it something else that I did not see?

Might be freezing closed, did you fix the heater hose yet ?, I dont think I have ever seen frost on mine.

was not the mixer that was frozen. It was the smaller round thing, dont recall what its called.

That's your fuel shutoff or VFF30. The filter inside it is probably plugged or there is a foreign object in it somewhere. Was the vacuum line that attatches to it frosty? If it was, the diaphragm is probably bad inside too. Your local propane supplier should be able to order you a kit for a VFF 30 or may even have one on hand if they deal much with motor fuel.

I actually have a brand new one sitting in my garage... Ill put it on tomorrow. thanks for the tip
