Questions on installing my lift

I'm installing a 4' BDS lift . I'm working on the rear springs now and am having problems with the emergency brake cables. Im not sure if they should run under or over the springs.They used to go under but the rear shackles were incorrectly installed so Im not so sure the brake cables were correct. They seem to fit best running over the top but they hit the springs. I don't even have the rear shackles bolted and the cables are pretty stretched. Im starting to think that the dealer gave me a 6' lift by mistake. What can I do ..what are my options.The truck has 33's .. the top of the front wheel well is 42' high ( the front springs are on)
