what are some setups ? Not too expensive but works well I’m thinking a three row .

Seem to be quite a few problems with the "premium" radiator brands (Griffin, etc) so the additional expense over the chinese versions doesn't seem worth it. Unless you have specific requirements, first choice should be to stick with the stock mechanical fan, electrics offer few advantages over the mechanical, particularly in terms of simplicity and how much air they move.

If the stock size radiator works, run any replacement you want that is the same size to simplify mounting. If you need/just can't live without electric fans, the Windstar fans are about your best bang for the buck. Easy to fit, easy to find, quite inexpensive, work to cool the trucks.

For the record, I’m at 12k miles with a griffin and ford two speed fan. I daily drive the burb if I can. 100+ ambient temp on the reg. Fan comes on at 194 and higher speed at 197. Very rarely does the higher speed trigger. The AC turning on ups the speed but is not needed for engine cooling.

I’ve just always had issues with over heating I’ve replaced every part except the fan and it seems to work properly.
So I was thinking better raidiator / fan setup .

Have you verified your gauge? Outside of very specific circumstances, these trucks have no problem staying cool with the standard radiator and fan.

I have the stock 4 core with a set of Windstar fans never had an issue keeping it cool. When it was stock bodied or in its modified form. Windstar fans, IMO are one of the best mods to do. Only on when the motor needs to be cooled, can turn off if your into the mud water thing, work really well.

Consider yourself lucky and I'm glad they have worked out for you. My Griffin kept everything cool other than when I was asking a lot from it (400sb, pulling a grade several miles). My issue is out of the 3 Griffin radiators I've bought, all 3 have leaked from where the tubes are soldered at the ends. One in a lowered C10 less than 3k miles. Two in my blazer, both less than 2k miles. If someone whats to buy one, I say go for it but buy it though Griffin. They offer another year warranty over Summit IIRC. Summit is maybe a year or two, don't remember.

x2 what dyeager said, unless your current radiator is clogged. Stock replacement with mechanical fan unless you rock crawl or put lots of load at low RPM on the motor, electric fan are best for that.
