Time to put some tunes in. Nothing fancy but having a hard time finding correct install kit for aftermarket single din radio into my uncut 89 blazer 1.5 DIN dash. Seems like everytime I think I find something it says not compatible with my year. Just need a part number that works.

No, that kit is to cover up an earlier dash that has been cut from the shaft-style to single-DIN.

There are some generic 1.5-1DIN adapters on Amazon, but I think the OP is looking for experience of something that has worked well in an 89-91 square. He probably doesn't want to do what I did:

On related note - do the 89-91 bezels fit in the 81-88 squares? Seems would be cleaner install? Assume part availability

The weird thing is that "1.5 DIN" should be 7" x 3", but that's the size of the chassis, not the face. The 89-91 plastic opening is 7 5/8" x 3 1/4", but almost nobody will post up the dimensions of their kits. The intended installation is with the radio completely behind the plastic bezel, but some adapters are too thick for that. That's how I ended up with the cut adapter above - it was more like 8 1/2" wide. My Kenwood is 7 3/8" wide, so the adapter can only be 1/8" on each side, because that style is designed to stick out into the plastic opening.

Double DIN4 inches7 inches
1.5 DIN (Din-and-a-half)3 inches7 inches

This is the Retrosound radio, which may be the only 1.5 DIN left. They claim it fits, but I can't find any reports of how it fits in a square.

EDIT: If anybody knows how to change column widths in a table, please let me know.

They do fit, because the sheet metal is stamped the same. However, the radio is centered lower and to the right on the 89-91, so after you cut the sheet metal, there is a gap on the left (which the plastic basically covers, but some creativity may be needed for mechanical attachment). You have to drill one more hole for an additional mounting screw below the radio (see picture above). That's what I was running for years.

Seems this would be perfect opportunity for 3d printing to make a perfect solution. But i guess 98% of bezels have been hacked already, and the remaining 1-2% want to keep stock, so no market for it.

I also thought about getting a different year (earlier) dash trim but looks like they don't cover the opening on the 89-91 dashes very well. Hoping the one I ordered works. I will post up pics when installed.

If the stereo pictured in your post is the one in your truck, and you want to sell it I will buy it. That is the same exact stereo that my 1991 V3500 crew cab came with. those stereos are hard to find.

Sorry, just a picture I found for reference.

For the column width right click the top cell for that column, then format cells, and you will see the column width option. Either do auto or set a dimension.

You're giving me instructions for Excel/spreadsheet? I'm talking about this bulletin board.
