Anyone know where this rear cargo trim can be purchased, LCM don't show it in the catalog and I'm trying to finish my 89 Silverado project

no after market on that one. Junk yard, Ebay or pure luck.:sign13:

I haven't been able to find anything either. I finally decided to straighten, sand, buff and polish the one I have. Should be interesting.....

Did you try Brothers ?...
If it were me I'd just buy an extruded aluminum carpet transition"strip" at Home Depot or Lowes or a carpet store and cut it to fit..or make a custom one from flat aluminum stock, you can get that at Home Depot or Lowes too..

I didn't see anything in Brothers. I actually saw one in Classic Parts several years ago, but of course decided to wait to purchase. No longer available. I kick myself every time I work on the old one.

Ive been looking online for months now without any luck. I have one that is in rough shape and probably not worthy of being installed but if I could find someone to smooth it out it might be another story. Once work slows down here, I'm thinking of fabricating one to oem spec since it consists of simple bends.

If you have the tools and material to make an OEM part, you could make a lot of new friends.

I will definitely resurrect this thread once I complete the first article. It may be a couple months before I get around to doing it but its better than never

I've hear of people using those garage door trims. Mine was pretty rough and I straightened it out, but at some point I might replace it with some diamond plate or aluminum cut to size.
