Rear disc brake w/ e-brake?

Other than the visible spring differences, what are the other differences between those 2 different part number calipers?

I'm not catching on since both links give the same description between the two.

It looks like the 3120 has a bracket mounted to the caliper for the cable housing.
The 3121 does not have this bracket

Too bad you cant install late model GM rear discs ,that have the e-brake in the center with a miniature set of shoes that have a drum cast into the rotor itself..those seem to be the least problematic, every vehicle that has the e-brake incorperated with the calipers had nothing but grief ---.

You probably could, but the parts alone for those trucks you will have tons of money stuck in the rear disc. PLUS they have problems with the calipers freezing up. Around here we replace calipers almost every time because they are frozen, not doing their job, or won't return back. The 1/2 ton single piston calipers are actually on national back order and difficult to find.

well.. now that sweetK30 has hooked me up with the correct SRW hubs for my D70HD, i might be able to get Kurt some measurements, and we may work out a bracket design that allows you to use the dual piston calipers with built in mechanical e-brake. I got the complete brake setup, with calipers, backing plates, brackets, and even the old rotors and all the internal components for the ebrake drums, price is in my sig. Ill need to buy new brake lines, parking brake cable, rotors, and pads, but other than that, ive got everything i need. If we can make a adaptor bracket that can be mass produced, this may solve everyones issue.

One of them uses the fleetwood/seville brackets, levers and spring and the other uses the Eldo lever without a bracket. I modified my Eldo calipers to use the fleetwood/seville bracket and spring.

if I could get a conversion kit that would let me use the rear calipers off an newer 1500 that would work. I have several sets of those
