i'm trying to get a price for a new one and drive shaft shop says "they go anywhere from $50 and up for a shortened 1 to $900 for a built 1" :eek1: if it was lifted this wouldn't bother me as much but stock:doah:

i'm prob gonna use 1 off 1 ton lwb truck

They are trying to rape you on the up to $900 price. Call Jesse at High Angle Driveline. He is honest and will hook you up.

I bet he can do a new shaft for under $200 for your use since it is still stock.

Agreed, $2-300 is what you should be looking at for a brand new driveshaft.

It's possible that the $900 quote is for something real high end and fancy, not what you need.
