Guys I bought the bed/rear panel to replace my wrecked one. I cut it from the parts vehicle from the door frame all the way back to the bed pan, taking the wheel well and some of the bed. I need to replace it with as little noticeable welds as possible. I know i got to unbolt the bed pan, bust the welds on the wheel well/bed interface but any bolts I need to know about?

what yr rig?

they are generally bolted all down the floor and wheelwell, but pre, post-80 matters there..... also 4 bolts into the end of the tailpan..

they are welded down the B pillar and fillet welded at the bottom of the C post......

Replaced the bed sides on my '90 a few years ago and it was as described above. They are bolted along the floor and wheelwells and then welded along the B-pillar and at the bottom the C-pillar. I also sourced the replacement sides from a donor truck by cutting them off. It took a fair amount of work to prep the "new" ones since you have to cut the welds and unbolt everything without destroying or distorting them. A little easier to remove the old ones off the Blazer since they were scrap metal anyway and could randomly hack and bend them away.
