Rear seat measurements?

My wife and I are shopping for a reliable family truck.....I want a K5. She wants something that will fit the kids..

Can someone measure the width of a rear seat?

I'm too lazy to go out front and measure it, but I can tell you that I can put 1 infant car seat in the middle, flanked by a 9 y/o and a 6 y/o and they are all comfortable.

Without measuring it, I can tell you I have two booster seats, with my 10 yo boy back there, and they all have room to move. It will be better when we get rid of the extra booster, but it works well.

I can tell you it's very close to 48" wide since it just fits between the wheel wells which is 49" roughly.

Yep 48" on a first Gen, I narrowed mine to 36 and still fits two in 5 points
