rebuilding a 6.5 turbo

trying to work a deal for 2 6.5 turbo set ups. one is rebuilt. one need to be rebuilt. he said the turbo has play. i can get both for 750. was thinking this was a fair price.

what would it cost tho and can someone do it at home? thanks

IIRC rebuild kits can be had for less than $100.

$750 is on the average/high side for 2 setups in good shape. $350-400 is what a stock 6.5L turbo setup in good shape typically goes for.
