recalled fan blade 73-79

Who here has replaced the factory fan blade with part number 461317? Back in 2001 I got the letter from GM that the original fan blade can spin off. It is attached on by rivets. The replacement blade look more like the older style blades with no rivets. I paid the 50 bucks for the blade. I didn't want the thing coming loose and being a projectile as I worked on the rig.

The big thing wit the old blades was that if it got out of balance.

It's been years ago, but one of my fan blades came off and put a hole in the hood of my 78. A few weeks later, I got a letter about metal fatigue being a problem. I think I just put an aftermarket fan on.
