I have taken these over the last few weeks.............................. About two weeks ago, I reached a milestone with my current patrol car. Received it in June of '04 and it hit the road in Aug of '04. Had about 500 miles on it when we got it, the rest of those miles belong to me. The beginning stages have commenced at work to replace this trusty warhorse with a 2007 model. Can't really say no to 20 more ponies and new style wheels, but these things are just like women, when you find a good one, you don't want to trade it in on a newer model even though you've ridden 'er hard and put 'er away wet more than should be allowed by law. Saw this off the side of the road last night. Don't have a clue what it is and haven't had a chance to show it to someone at work who would. The ice storm that rolled through here a few days ago has been in the news. The town where my office is got hit especially hard. As of yesterday, there was people still without power and there are trees down all over the place. Up where I live, we had some trees go down, I just had a couple of small limbs come apart. These pics were taken on Thursday, the ice storm rolled through Tuesday night. I worked that night and the tank had a lot more ice on it than what the pics show. I almost had to use an impact tool on the lock to get it open and knocked about a 1/4" of ice off of the hose. The whole night when I got out of my car, I was knocking ice off the antennas and the light bar. At the beginning of the week, we got a special visit from a special friend. Thought about talking to him and offering him a job, but after the freaking conniption fit the yahoo had, I just about unloaded a mag of .40 Gold Dots into his freaky, furry butt.......................... Seriously, one of my coworkers had put out the word she wanted to get a Tickle Me Elmo for her 3 year old and one of the detention officers just happen to find one at a Wal-Mart and picked it up for her.
