Recovered my back bench seat(PIC\'S)
I recovered my bench seat tonight.I got some replacement CST black vinyl covers from GMC Pauls.A little over $200.00 for the bench seat cover(that's about the going rate)
It took me about 4hr's to stip off the old cover and install the new one.
It looks hella good now!!! /forums/images/graemlins/grin.gif /forums/images/graemlins/grin.gif
The old covers.
The seat foam is in real good shape.
the back of the stripped bench
started with one hog ring in the center of each side of the bench(red circles)
I'm fastening the front bottom of the back cover here.
I then streched the back of the seat cover over the bottom edge of the frame rail and again attached it with hog rings.
Then tucked the sides in nicely.
The hog ring pliers and hog rings I used.
4hrs later I was done.It turned out great considering I've never done any upholstery work before.
