Possibly relocating to the groton area and was wondering if there was any good spots for mild wheeling with a stock rig

    Navy guy I take it?

I don't know the Groton area, but generally there isn't much "legal" wheeling in New England unless you know someone with land or something.

Hey 78, I'm over in North Stonington, 15 mins away. If you're interested in seeing some trails, send me a p.m. Off-roading is legal in CT, with some restrictions. Vehicle must be registered and insured, and you must stay on Class 6 roads (fire roads). Patchaug state forest is my backyard.

That's cool. My blazer is still under construction, but my XJ is up and running.
