Removing the rear leveling /height proportioning valve.

Gee,with all the info missing we'd need,like the year,make,model and ton rating,anyone's guess would be just that...:crazy:

All the older GM trucks I've had (87 and older) used 1/4" brake tubing to the rear brakes,up to the rubber hose connection,3/16" to each rear wheel after that...some '88 up trucks used 3/16" on all the lines,and might have metric thread fittings (bubble flare vs SAE flare)..
I assume your talking square body here,seeing they were the ones that started using that rather useless "load compensator" valve thing..
 
I don't remember my 91 V3500 being metric. When I lifted it I reused the braided hoses off of my '80 wheeler and bypassed the rear valve.

Take the nut and linkage off and just turn the knob to unloaded. Mines been that way for a very long time.
