the 241 is shot was going to put in a 208 from a cucv. the 241 is in back of a sm465. a guy i use to work with said it will bolt up, but the driveshaft splines are different. i never heard this?? is he right. just want to make sure before i take it apart.

thanks

NP241 and NP208 are externally nearly identical. They both use the same shifter, same driveshafts and have the same bolt pattern.

As long as you have the same spline count, it'll bolt right up in place of the 241

If your 241 is 32 spline then it will bolt up. I think the sm465/241 is 32 spline like the th400.
