Replacing the model 80 fuel filter with a spin on

Just replaced another model 80 fuel filter base. When I'm little better set for cash I would like to get Stanadyne FM100. For now what have you guys done as far as a spin on filter? good take a ride over to napa see what they had. Figure either way I got a piece something together. Thanks:waytogo:
 
WIX sells filter bases for the 33123 filter the 82-83 trucks had,but they are more costly than a complete aftermarket filter/water separator unit like the one Perma-Cool has,that can be bought at Summit or Jegs...


Someone here had several Standyne filter units for sale in the for sale section for a low price ,you may want to check that post out!..
