replacing trans pan/filter how many quarts?

need a LOT more info than that.

its a 79 gmc jimmy th 350 opps i thought i inputed that..
Now need to know if a standard depth pan or deep pan (came both ways from the factory). Plan on at least 6 quarts though as a minimum.
dex 3 fluid is fine .
4-5 qrt for refill will prob get you extra qrt left ovr but safe to not run back to the store.
get rubber gasket over cork gasket . make sure dead dry on pan and case for gasket to seal. and do NOY over tighten it or you will blow it out.
and dont need rtv for a good seal comon mistake.

its pretty low profile, so im sure its not the deep one. it came with a cork but i bought the rubber one also. thank you gents!!
